We have free parking just outside the Church building. Please do come early as these spaces fill up quickly.
You will be welcomed by our welcome team when you come into Church. They will make you feel at home and answer any questions you may have.
Our services usually last no more than 1 hour.
Is there anything for the Children to do?
On Sundays we have a dedicated Junior Church (3 – 11+) that takes place from the start of Church at the Children’s Centre across the road. Please take your Children before Church begins and register them there. We have a team to welcome you there and will let you know everything you need to know. If it is your Child’s first time in Children’s Church, we ask you to stay for a little while to ensure your Child is settled and that the team know any additional information that can equip them to best care for your child when in Church. Children are brought back into the main church building just before the end of the service.
This is every Wednesday morning at 9.30am. This is a quiet said (not sung) service. All welcome.
What about age 10+?
We have two Sunday Evening groups that meet in Church for those in School Year 6 – the end of High School:
Both groups are on the 2nd and 4th Sundays of the month. They are as follows:
School Years 6 -8 from 6.00 – 7.40pm. Food is provided.
School Years 9+ from 7.30 (or 7.15 if you’d like food!) – 9.00pm.
Do I need to pay any money?
You don’t have to pay to come to church. We have an offering box in the Church entrance for those who wish to donate to the running costs of the Church.
Is there anything after Church?
Refreshments are served after the service and on our Wednesday Holy Communion, we have the Community Café open for those who wish to enjoy drinks, bacon and Sausage barms and cakes. In our Sunday service, we serve free drinks and biscuits. Donations are welcome.
How can I find out more information or talk to someone?
We all give a warm welcome at St Bert’s but if you wish to talk to any of the Leadership Team, please see our contacts page for details of Steve, our Vicar or our friendly Church Wardens, Bekki and Kathryn.
