Churches Together in Runcorn

St Bert’s Church is an active member of Churches Together in Runcorn and supports events in the wider church in the area. We are united in being God’s family in Runcorn and pray for all the churches who partner together locally. For more information see www.ctir.org.uk.

St Berteline’s C of E Aided Primary School

St Berteline’s is a school where Christian values underpin every aspect of its life. These are manifested through outstanding relationships and well rounded children who have a strong moral and ethical code based on very strong religious teaching. The school benefits from outstanding leadership and strong parental support. The positive links with the local church enhance the work of the school and consequently the lives of the children.

Runcorn Foodbank

St Bert’s hosts a Tuesday Foodbank that is part of the Runcorn Foodbank, organised by the Trussell Trust.

Volunteers are ready to distribute food to people in crisis who come to the Foodbank with a voucher obtained from various services within the borough. Frontline professionals such as Doctors, Health Visitors, Social Workers, Police Officers and Citizens Advice Bureau staff are amongst the organisations helping to identify people in crisis and issue them with a voucher. Many Housing Associations are also involved.

Foodbank clients bring their voucher, where it can be exchanged for 3 days supply of emergency food.

You can find out more about the Runcorn foodbank at https://runcorndistrict.foodbank.org.uk.
